Jowl Bacon

1.00 lb uncured, smoked Jowl Bacon. Unlike regular bacon (which comes from the belly), Jowl bacon is made from the jowl or cheek. It is sliced thinner than regular bacon, and is fattier. The fat, however, is very creamy and tasty in dishes like Pasta Carbonara or a bacon vinaigrette. No added nitrates or MSG.
